Scope
This Cookie Policy explains how Flowifier GmbH uses cookies and similar technologies on:
the public website at flowifier.com (“Website”); and
the Flowifier platform operated under *.flowifier.app, including tenant workspaces, Studio and Public Forms (“Platform”).
The Website and the Platform use different technologies and are therefore described separately below.

2. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files stored by a browser. We also use similar browser technologies, particularly local storage and session storage.
These technologies may be used to:
authenticate users and maintain secure sessions;
remember settings selected by a user;
remember cookie choices;
measure use of the Website, where the visitor has consented; and
provide and protect the Platform.
We distinguish between:
Necessary technologies, which are required to provide a service or function requested by the user; and
Optional analytics technologies, which are only used after consent.
3. Public Website: flowifier.com
3.1 Necessary consent storage
The Website stores a visitor’s cookie selection so that the consent banner does not have to be displayed on every page.

This storage is necessary to remember the visitor’s cookie selection. It is not used to track visitors across other websites.
3.2 Framer website analytics
The Website is hosted using Framer.
Flowifier uses Framer’s built-in website analytics to obtain aggregated information about Website use. According to Framer, this analytics service does not use cookies or persistent identifiers. Framer generates short-lived, derived identifiers using technical request information and a salt that changes daily.

3.3 Google Analytics
With the visitor’s consent, Flowifier uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Website and to improve its content and usability.
Google Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Limited for users in the European Economic Area and Switzerland.
Google Analytics may process information such as:
pages viewed;
referring pages;
interactions with Website content;
browser and device information;
approximate location information; and
the time and duration of a visit.
Google Analytics is not activated and its analytics cookies are not set until the visitor has selected the Analytics category.

The actual storage period may be shorter because of browser restrictions or Flowifier’s Google Analytics configuration.
Flowifier uses Google Tag Manager to manage the Google Analytics integration. Google Tag Manager must not activate Google Analytics or other optional tags before the required consent has been given.
Google may process data outside the European Economic Area. Further information about Google, applicable safeguards and the processing of personal data is provided in the Website Privacy Policy.
3.4 No marketing cookies
Flowifier does not currently use advertising, remarketing or cross-website profiling cookies on the Website.
If Flowifier introduces such technology in the future, it will not be activated before the required consent has been given. This Cookie Policy and the available consent categories will be updated accordingly.
4. Flowifier Platform: *.flowifier.app
4.1 General principle
The Platform does not currently use external analytics, advertising or marketing cookies.
It uses first-party cookies and browser storage only to:
authenticate users;
maintain and protect sessions;
coordinate authentication between browser tabs;
remember settings selected by users; and
provide Platform functions.
These technologies are not used to follow users across unrelated websites.
4.2 Authentication cookies
When a user signs in to the Platform, Flowifier uses the following first-party cookies:

In production, these cookies are configured as HttpOnly and Secure and use SameSite=Lax. This helps prevent access through browser scripts and reduces the risk of cookies being sent in unintended cross-site requests.
Disabling or deleting these cookies may prevent users from signing in or using protected Platform functions.
4.3 Local and session storage
The Platform may store the following information in the user’s browser:

This information is first-party Platform data and is not used for advertising or cross-website tracking.
4.4 Public Forms
Public Forms may be used without signing in to a Flowifier tenant.
Flowifier does not intentionally require or send tenant authentication cookies when an anonymous visitor starts or submits a Public Form. A Public Form may nevertheless use first-party browser storage for functions such as language or theme selection.
Information entered into and submitted through a Public Form is not cookie data. Its processing is governed by the relevant privacy information provided by the tenant responsible for the form and, where applicable, Flowifier’s Platform Privacy Policy.
5. Managing cookie choices
Visitors to the Website can accept or reject optional analytics technologies through the consent banner.
The selection can later be changed through the Cookie Settings control available on the Website. Withdrawing consent prevents future analytics collection. Analytics cookies previously set by Flowifier will be removed when analytics consent is withdrawn.
Visitors can also delete cookies and browser storage through their browser settings. Blocking necessary storage may affect the operation of the Website or Platform.
The Platform does not display a consent banner while it uses only the first-party authentication and functional technologies described above. If optional external analytics or marketing technology is introduced, Flowifier will obtain the required consent before activating it.
6. Changes to this Cookie Policy
Flowifier may update this Cookie Policy when technologies, providers or legal requirements change.
The version date at the beginning of this document identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate notice where required.
